Refer To This Check-List
To Enhance Your “VIP” Experience…
“Vacation Integrated w/Profit”
Prior to the Cruise …
► Have You Reserved Your Flights Yet?
Go to http://SideStep.com to compare fares from multiple search engines. You will need to fly in and out of Orlando International Airport (MCO). Please schedule your arriving flights for prior to NOON on Sat. Jan. 9th (or a day or two earlier) and return flights for after 1 PM Saturday, January 16th.
► Pre-Register Online For Your Carnival Boarding FUN-Pass!
Go to http://Carnival.com/MyCruise to save time and print out your expedited boarding pass. You will need your reservation / confirmation number (located on the invoice you received), the ship and sailing date (Carnival Dream - January 9th) and your passport information.
All guests, please print out your FUN-Pass for boarding and your e-docs, if you wish. Only the FUN-Pass is necessary to board the ship.
If you run into a glitch or techical difficulty, please call Carnival's FUN-Pass support desk at 1-866-236-6670.
If for some reason, you are still unable to access, complete or print your boarding passes, or e-docs, then just bring a copy of your PAID IN FULL invoice previously sent to you by email. Can't locate your invoice? Just contact Support@CaptainLou.com and we will email you another copy.

► Fly In Early And Stay At The Sheraton!
Go to: http://MarketersCruiseHotel.com to reserve a night or two (or even 3) before we set sail. Our specially negotiated group rate of $109.00 per night (available until Dec. 21st) includes complimentary internet access, breakfast and a private reception on the evening of January 8th. Transfers from Orlando Airport to hotel and R/T to Port Canaveral (cruise pier) are included for an additional $50 per person. Transfer fees, per person, will automatically be added to your hotel bill.
Then, email our hotel group coordinator Biljana with your arrival day, flight and time.
Want to rent a car? Although NOT neccessary, due to ample FREE shuttles to many of the nearby attractions like Universal Studios and Islands Of Adventure, Wet n' Wild, etc., you can do so right from the hotel at the Alamo Car Rental desk. Reserve online at: http://alamo.com and make sure you request pick up and return to "Orlando Sheraton Studios" located at 5905 International Drive, instead of the airport. This way, you can return the rental AT the hotel and just jump on the bus to the cruise pier on January 9th.
The shuttle buses from our hotel over to Port Canaveral will leave beteen 11 AM and Noon on January 9th.
TIP: Returning flights should be scheduled for after 1 PM on Saturday, January 16th.
► Or...Will You Be Going Straight From Orlando Airport to the Port Canaveral Cruise Piers?
At http://CruiseXpressFla.com ... you will be able to arrange r/t transfers for just $40 per person.TIP: Although we are not affiliated with this company, nor do we suggest flying in on the same day of our sailing, it's how you can save $30 over Carnival's fees for motorcoach transfers. The cruiseport is approx. 50 minutes away from the airport.
► Contact Your Cell Phone Provider…
Tell them to turn on International or World Calling and advise that you will be cruising aboard Carnival Dream to Cozumel, Mexico, Isla Roatan, Belize City and Costa Maya, Mexico from January 9th to 16th. Then you’ll be able to receive or make calls via the ship’s satellite system and on the islands at a discounted rate. TIP: Ask about text messaging rates, which should run approx 10 to 20 cents each to receive, and around 50 cents to send.

► Don’t Forget To Pack SUNSCREEN, and...
Temperatures should be in the 80's and above and you will be able to use the pool(s) on ship and also get in the water and engage in water sports at the beaches. Evenings will be a little cooler but you will not need a sweater or jacket unless it gets windy. Here's what we suggest that you consider taking.
Always pack your passport and cruise documents in your carry on bag ONLY.
The dress on ship is casual all day until 6:00PM, so take:
-swim wear (at least 2),
-shorts, tank tops and "T's"
-sandals,
-beach shoes,
-your snorkel equipment if you have it,
-sun glasses and sun screen,
-lotions,
-a cap or big hat for the sun,
-a book if you are a reader,
-your music player,
-sneakers and clothes to workout in if you like to use the gym,
-good walking shoes,
-your camera, and
-other personal toiletries including tooth paste, mouth wash or lotions.
Your cabin will have towels and soap provided, including pool and beach towels, and a hair dryer. It will also have a generic hair shampoo so you do not need to bring that unless you like a specific brand.
After 6:00 PM they request that you wear "sports or resort casual" attire. That's attire that you would expect a person to wear in a business setting, shirt with a collar, slacks, skirt, blouse, etc. You can still wear shorts and swim wear in the pools and spas but not in public areas like dining rooms and restaurants, show rooms, bars, casino, etc. Don't over pack , take clothes that you can mix and match tops and bottoms and plan to wear each piece twice. Since we are going to the Caribbean you will likely be in shorts and/or swim wear most of every day so evening clothes don't usually get much wear.
Our cruise will have two "Elegant Evenings" when you can wear your best stuff and get pictures taken, and maybe meet the ship’s Captain. The formal nights are REQUESTED not required attire. You will not be denied entry to the main dining room if you decide not to dress up, as long as you are at least sports casual. But most people do dress up. A gown or party dress for women and a suit or tux for men. Some people dress up both elegant evenings, some don't.
- Its best to pack using soft-sided luggage because with space limited in your cabin it fits under the beds better if its not hard sided luggage.
-Take a small carry-on bag for the first day and last night of the cruise. On the last evening you will be required to put your luggage outside your cabin by midnight so that they can start taking it down to the lower deck for offloading the next morning. So you will need a small bag for your toiletries and your clothes that you sleep in.
- If you plan to get into the pools or hot tub as soon as you get on ship (they will be open), bring those clothes in your carry on bag; you other luggage may not get to your cabin until much later in the afternoon.
- If you are taking your cell phone, MP3 player or other item that needs to be plugged in take an extension cord as the plugs in the cabin are generally not in the best places and there are usually only one or two.
- Take a can of air freshener for your cabin bathroom. The bathrooms do not have exhaust fans.
- Take a few zip lock bags of various sizes; they always come in handy.
- Take some one dollar bills (also maybe a few $5's) for tipping the porters in the airport, at the pier (they do not work for the ship), and they will come in handy in port stops for buying small items in the markets and at vendor stands; especially bartering places.
- Bring business cards for networking .
